(Great) Grandma Baggerman's 90th Birthday!
This was a big family weekend. Baggermen (and spouses) far and wide gathered in Kalamazoo, MI for Grandma Baggerman's 90th birthday. In all, there were more than 20 of us from four different generations, four different time zones, and nine decades. It was really wonderful to have everyone gather to celebrate wonderful Grandma Baggerman.
This was the first time that the extended family met Finn and his cousin, Anna. And believe it or not, this was the first time Finn and Anna met! They were definitely interested in one another from the very first moment, and such a study in contrast. While Finn is like King Kong in miniature, stumbling around, toppling toys and furniture, opening cabinet doors, and emptying various recepticles of their contents, Anna is docile and smiley, shyly grinning and waving at all the new people. (Finn, on the other hand, would heave himself into their laps and thump their heads.)
In one very tender moment, Anna bent down to kiss Finn. He gave her a little kiss back, and then took a little chomp with those well-worn teeth. Luckily, Anna was quick to recover and forgive.
Ever the ham, Finn decided to take this weekend to take his first steps. More photos of this exciting development to come!
For more photos of the weekend, look no further.
