too cool for school
Finnie started a neighhborhood preschool coop last week. Here he is on the first day of school, out front. He was totally too cool to pose for a photo with all his classmates around, so I had to snap this one when he wasn't looking.
He really seems to love it so far. First of all, a bunch of his pals go there. Secondly, our friend and neighbor is one of his teachers. And although he protested when I went to drop him off the first day, when I picked him up, he was enthusiastically answering all the questions that his teacher was asking during story time. His hand shot up with the correct answer every question like the little nerd we always hoped he'd be! (sniff!)
