[After the dog has chewed up the top of one of his sippy cups and is undoubtably going to get in trouble. By the way, he is totally just covering for Santos--he is not thrilled about this either.]
"THANK you, Santos! Look, Mommy! He chewed a bigger hole in here so it is easier to drink."
[After telling him that we were going to Texas to visit Uncle Clint and Aunt Sudi]
(pause) "Will we need to take a horse to Texas?"
"My brain told me that I should have jellybeans if I eat all my dinner."
"Mama, why did God make freeways if there's still traffic?"
[When I was dressed up and ready to go out for the evening]
"Mama, I like your hair, your dress, your necklace, your lip color, and the color of your skin."
