Eva and Cormac
Here's a photo of Cormac with his sweet nanny, Eva. As I mentioned earlier, Cormac shares the wonderful Eva with his little friend, Colin. Colin was on vacation this week, so Cormac reveled in the one-on-one attention. The weather was spring-like, so they went to the zoo, the children's museum, and the library for story time. Eva took photos and emailed them to me throughout the day so I could see what she was doing.
Eva really is an exceptional all-around person, and we are super lucky to have her to work for us. Possessing the patience of a saint, she has the ability to seemingly effortlessly wrangle two babies at once. (Hats off for that one, as I can barely handle one at a time.) But she also has all these amazing talents that we're just discovering. She's a great artist, and does these amazing drawings of animals and cartoon characters for the boys. (Which we use to decorate the playroom.) Her cooking is sublime,, and when she has time, she will make something like sweet mole enchiladas with guacamole and rice, which just might be my new favorite dish. And we just found out that she used to play semi-professional soccer.
Eva's best endorsement comes directly from Cormac, who absolutely lights up when he sees her, and loves spending time with her. He even cries when he has to say goodbye, which ordinarily might bother me some. But it's OK because I totally get it.
